Just wanted to drop you folks at Classic Cover-ups a note to tell you
how much I love the Tempest sheet. No disrespect to the great
Shakespeare, but let me count the ways....
1) it FITS and it's COMFORTABLE! It has space for their shoulders
and withers, and it doesn't ride back, and the leg strap rings are in
comfortable places for them. I don't have to worry about it pulling or
binding on my horses whether in turnout or in the trailer.
2) It packs well - it folds up into an incredibly small space when not
in use
3) It's windproof - in the trailer where ventilation is essential but
chills can be a problem, that's huge peace of mind, and of course the
wet windy days it was designed for as well!
4) It stays dry - again in the trailer when I'm hauling in the rain, I
can leave the rear windows open for ventilation without worrying about
a horse with chilled wet hindquarters.
5) Shavings brush right off - a huge blessing! I can layer it over a thermatex or thermalux or any other of the wool or fleece contraptions
we have that are super for cooling out and warmth, but are horrible
shavings magnets, and leave overnight knowing the horse will be warm,
dry, and CLEAN in the morning.
6) It's durable - you can tell it's been well used and loved, but it's
still going strong
7) It's machine washable - need I say more?
I don't know what I did without it - when we travel to compete,
I take
it, plus the thermalux, plus a sheet. I'm now prepared for hot
horses, cold weather, wet weather, and travel in almost any kind of
weather, and I know my horses will arrive warm, dry, and
unstressed from their environment. (the driving now, that's another
matter! ;-)
Thanks for making such a terrific product.
