Dear Ian:
Your name and address were given to me by
Tack Room Too in Olympia, Washington. They said I should write to you.
On December 20, 1997, I purchased two SympaTex Storm Cruisers, a 74"
and a 72" for my Arabs. On January 29, 2004, I took one of the
blankets to Tack Room Too for its one and only repair and that repair
was not fault of the blanket but a fabric fray due to a few too many
rambunctious rolls in gravely sand.
Usually folks write when they have a
problem or a dissatisfaction. I thought you ought to know when
you have a satisfied customer. I feel that I take god care of my
horse blankets: they are washed several times during heavy use and are
washed and put away during the summer but otherwise are used probably
eight to nine months out of the year for night and turnout. They
have held up remarkably well and look like new when clean. In
fact, I have been so pleased with these blankets that last summer i
purchased two sheets for coverage during our rainy Spring and Fall
weather.
If I have a frustration, it is that I
have been unable to find a quilted blanket liner for warmth on the few
extra cold nights we have here. I know that you folks make a
fleece liner but I was hesitant to buy them as I didn't think they
would provide the extra warmth I wanted. Currently, I', using
one of those "W" quilted blanket liners but they just don't fit well
under the SympaTex blankets--too long in the back and length.
That said, you still have a great
product and should be very proud. I know I am--my horses look
extremely good in the 6 year, 2 month, and 3 day old blankets. Keep up
the good work!
Sincerely,
Carol Swindall, Brunada and J.R.
